Kademy Love.Hope Run 2025

1.    General Information

1.1 The Kademy Love.Hope Run 2025 ("Event") is organized by Kademy Sdn Bhd ("Organizer").

1.2 By registering for the Event, participants ("Participants") agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions and all event-related rules.

2.    Registration and Payment

2.1 Registration is confirmed only upon successful payment and receipt of a registration confirmation email.

2.2 Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

2.3 Participants must provide accurate and truthful information during registration. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel any registration with false or misleading information.

3.    Race Kit Collection

3.1 Race kits must be collected during the designated Race Entry Pack Collection (REPC) period. No kits will be distributed on the event day.

3.2 Participants must bring their confirmation email and a valid ID (IC) to collect their race kits.

3.3 A representative may collect race kits on behalf of a participant with necessary authorization and documents.

4.    Age and Health Requirements

4.1 The 10KM Competitive Run is open to participants aged 13 years and above. The 5KM Fun Run is open to participants aged 7 years and above.

4.2 Participants are responsible for ensuring their fitness for the event. It is recommended to consult a medical professional before participation.

4.3 Participants with serious medical conditions that could be aggravated by running are not permitted to participate. The Organizer may disqualify any participant deemed unfit.

5.    Event Day Rules

5.1 All participants must wear their assigned bib number prominently on their attire. Participants without a bib will not be allowed to start the race.

5.2 Participants must comply with the instructions of event marshals and officials. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.

5.3 The event will proceed in most weather conditions; however, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel or postpone due to extreme weather or safety concerns.

6.    Event Format and Route Changes:

6.1 The organizer reserves the right to modify the event format, race routes, or other details as necessary for the safety of participants or to comply with government regulations. Any changes will be communicated through official channels.

6.2 Participants will be informed of any significant changes to the event details at least 24 hours before the event.

7.    Media and Publicity Consent

7.1 The Kademy Love.Hope Run 2025 will incorporate video shooting throughout the day to create a memorable profile of the event. 

7.2 The footage captured will be used to create a memorable profile for the children, showcasing their participation in the event. Additionally, the final video will be shared on our social media platforms to inspire and encourage other children and parents to join future events.

7.3 By participating, you consent to being photographed or recorded during the event: -

7.3.1 Activity Participation: I consent to my child's participation in the KADEMY Charity Run. I understand the inherent risks associated with outdoor activities and agree that all necessary precautions will be taken to ensure safety.

7.3.2 Video Recording: I consent to my child being video recorded during the event. I understand that this footage may be edited and used for promotional and educational purposes.

7.3.3 Social Media Sharing: I consent to the use of my child's image and participation being shared on social media platforms managed by KADEMY Sdn Bhd.

8.    Emergency Contact and Medical Consent

8.1 Participants (or guardians) must provide emergency contact information during registration.

8.2 Participants give consent for medical treatment in case of injury or illness during the event.

9.    Liability Waiver

9.1 By participating in the Kademy Love.Hope Run 2025, participants agree to run at their own risk. The organizer will not be held liable for any injury, illness, or death resulting from participation in the event.

9.2 The organizer will take all reasonable precautions for the safety of participants but will not be responsible for any accidents or incidents arising before, during, or after the event.

10.  Insurance Coverage:

10.1 The event provides basic insurance coverage for all participants. However, participants are still advised to have personal health and accident insurance.

10.2 The organizer will not be held liable for any medical expenses or damages beyond what is covered by the event's basic insurance.

11.  Event Cancellation and Force Majeure

11.1 The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or postpone the Event due to unforeseen circumstances or force majeure. No refunds will be issued unless deemed appropriate by the Organizer.

12.  Prizes and Awards

12.1 Only participants who complete the race within the designated cut-off time are eligible for finisher medals and e-certificates.
10.2. Prizes are awarded based on official race results, and the Organizer's decision is final.

13.  Compliance and Disqualification

13.1 The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant who fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions or engages in inappropriate behavior during the Event.

14.  Changes to Terms and Conditions

14.1 The Organizer reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Participants are encouraged to review the Terms regularly.

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Thank you for registering your child for the KADEMY Love.Hope Run on 16 February 2025. We are excited to have them join us for this event.

Please note that the charity run will incorporate video shooting throughout the day. The footage captured will be used to create a memorable profile for the children, showcasing their participation in the event. Additionally, the final video will be shared on our social media platforms to inspire and encourage other children and parents to join future events.

Consent:
