Whether you're a seasoned runner or casual jogger, there's come a time when you've thought to yourself: it would be nice to have X to make my stroll that much more enjoyable.

Here are some ideas of mine that aren't seen much right now.

1. Watch windows on long sleeve running shirts. Nearly all long sleeve running shirts these days have thumbholes, but then the shirt covers my watch. There are only a few brands that make long sleeve shirts with a watch window. With so many runners wearing GPS watches, this needs to be more of a thing.

 2. Phone pockets on sports bras. I have a Brooks bra with a pocket in the racerback and it's amazing. You don't notice it if you aren't using it but it's the most comfortable way I've found to carry a phone on my run. I bought a Koala Clip to carry a phone between the shoulder blades when I'm wearing my regular bras but it's kind of fiddly to get it into position. Pocket bras need to be more of a thing.

 3. Two-way zippers on jackets. This used to be more of a thing! I bought a New Balance jacket with a two-way zipper 20 years ago and it's great because if you overheat you can open the jacket up from the top and the bottom but it stays connected in the middle so it doesn't flop open. I hardly ever see them any more, and only occasionally do I see a similar feature, such as a snap or velcro attachment to keep the jacket front connected while it's unzipped.
