Ride For Sight 2024: Empowering the Visually Impaired Through Cycling

Penang, Malaysia – St Nicholas’ Home is thrilled to announce the Ride For Sight 2024, a unique and heartwarming cycling event aimed at raising awareness and support for the visually impaired community. Scheduled to take place on June 15, 2024, at Queensbay Mall, Penang, this event promises a day of fun, fitness, and community spirit.

Ride For Sight 2024 invites cyclists of all walks of life to join forces with visually impaired participants and their sighted pilots for an unforgettable cycling experience. This event not only promotes physical activity and a healthy lifestyle but also fosters inclusion and highlights the capabilities of individuals with visual impairments.

Venue: Queensbay Mall, Penang Event Highlights:

Tandem Cycling: Teams of sighted and visually impaired cyclists will ride together, demonstrating the power of collaboration and trust.

Cycling Routes:

Bayan Lepas 22km route designed to accommodate different skill levels, ensuring everyone can join in the fun.

Charity Drive:

All proceeds from the event will go directly to St Nicholas Home, supporting their programs and services for the visually impaired.

Those that have registered can collect their race kits and goodies at either Queensbay Mall or St.Nicholas Home from 7 - 8 June 2024 or 10 - 14 June 2024 respectively. Further details can be found on the event website.
