Most students check mark schemes after completing past papers, but examiner reports can also explain common mistakes and what examiners expect. Have you found them genuinely useful for improving your answers, or do you mainly rely on mark schemes?

Examiner reports are genuinely underrated, honestly. I used to only bother with mark schemes too, but the reports often explain why a specific answer lost marks, which the scheme alone never shows. For gcse english especially, I found the examiner breakdowns way more useful for spotting the little phrasing issues that cost me marks. I’ve been using the reports on the gcse english section of School.ninja recently and they’ve made my past paper reviews feel less like guesswork

I still glance at mark schemes first, but the reports are what actually sharpen my next attempt
