Charity Light Run
Charity Light Run is a family fun night run aspire to raise funds for the hospital’s Patient Heart Fund in conjunction with the International World Heart Day. The charity run embraces the theme of “Lighting up Hope” for needy heart patients. Each participant will receive a headlamp during the run as the symbol of Hope.
All proceeds from the event will be channeled to Patient Heart Fund; a fund that helps needy patient suffering from heart ailments. Last year, the hospital’s Patient Heart Fund has disbursed RM 867,996 to help 27 heart patients.
One of the patient is baby Jian Hao who was diagnosed a hole in the heart when he was only 2 weeks old. This news came as a big blow for his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Lim as the operation cost approximately RM 70,000. With the support of the Hospital’s Patient Heart Fund, baby Jian Hao underwent a successful heart operation on 27th March 2018. Today, Jian Hao is a happy & active one and a half years old boy. This is all attributable to generous donors like yourself that enable us to assist the needy patients in our community.
