Perpaduan Charity Hike 2026
Perpaduan Charity Hike 2026 (PCH26) marks the 4th edition of our annual charity hiking event, proudly organised by Penang International Hiker's (PIH). The event will be held on 21 June 2026, bringing together students, working adults, families, and corporate participants in the spirit of unity, health, and giving back to society.
PCH26 is a non-profit charity event. All funds raised, after deducting event costs, will be donated to selected charitable homes. Through this event, we aim to promote an active lifestyle, strengthen community bonding, and encourage social responsibility.
Over the years, PCH has grown steadily, with increasing participation from schools and corporate organisations. For 2024 and 2025, we successfully supported students in claiming their PAJSK co-curricular points, and we will continue to assist primary and secondary school students to apply for PAJSK points for PCH26.

Comments : Disappointing and concerning event management. This event involved almost 2,000 participants with separate 5km and 8km routes, yet there were insufficient marshals and no staff at several checkpoints to guide participants. Many hikers ended up confused. A hiking event with thousands of participants should never rely on participants finding their own way. For an event of this scale, safety should have been the top priority. Proper route management, clear signage and adequate manpower are essential, especially when many participants may be unfamiliar with the trails. Fortunately, nothing serious happened, but the lack of route supervision could have led to dangerous situations if someone had been injured, separated from their group, or required emergency assistance. I hope both the organizer and the ticketing platform take this feedback seriously and ensure that future events meet proper safety and operational standards. Participants paid to join a properly organized event, not to figure out the route themselves in a forest.
