## Terms and Conditions

1. Event Category
   SP MAI FUN RUN 2026 is a non-competitive 5KM fun run.

2. Participant Age
   The Kids Category is open to participants aged 7–12 years. Participants below 18 years old must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian.

3. Registration Confirmation
   Registration is confirmed only after full payment has been successfully received. Any platform or processing fee may be charged separately.

4. Participant Entitlements
   Each registered participant is entitled to:

   * Official SP MAI FUN RUN 2026 T-shirt
   * Race bib number
   * E-certificate
   * Finisher medal, subject to completing the 5KM route

5. Finisher Medal
   Finisher medals will only be awarded to registered participants who complete the designated 5KM route. Participants who do not start or complete the run are not eligible to receive a medal.

6. T-shirt Size
   Participants must select their T-shirt size during registration. Sizes are subject to availability, and no size exchange is guaranteed after registration.

7. Race Kit Collection
   Race kit collection will be held on *Tuesday, 1 December 2026 at SP Plaza, Sungai Petani*. Collection time and detailed instructions will be announced later.

8. Collection Requirements
   Participants must present their registration confirmation or identification document during race kit collection. A representative collecting on behalf of another participant must provide proof of registration and authorization.

9. Uncollected Race Kits
   Race kits not collected within the specified collection period may be considered forfeited unless prior arrangements have been approved by the organizer.

10. Transfer and Substitution
    Race entries, bib numbers and participant entitlements cannot be transferred, resold or substituted without prior approval from the organizer.

11. Cancellation and Refunds
    Registration fees are non-refundable once payment has been confirmed, except where otherwise determined by the organizer.

12. Health and Fitness
    Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are physically fit to take part. Anyone with a medical condition should seek medical advice before participating and inform the organizer where appropriate.

13. Safety Instructions
    Participants must follow the official route and comply with all instructions given by the organizer, marshals, medical personnel and relevant authorities.

14. Children’s Safety
    Parents or guardians are responsible for the safety and supervision of participating children before, during and after the event.

15. Weather and Event Changes
    The organizer reserves the right to modify, postpone, suspend or cancel the event due to weather, safety concerns, instructions from authorities or circumstances beyond the organizer’s control.

16. Participant Conduct
    Participants must behave responsibly and must not endanger themselves or others. The organizer may remove any participant who violates safety instructions or disrupts the event.

17. Personal Belongings
    Participants are responsible for their own belongings. The organizer will not be responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items.

18. Photography and Publicity
    By participating, participants acknowledge that photographs or videos may be taken during the event and used by the organizer for event reporting and promotional purposes.

19. Accuracy of Information
    Participants must provide accurate and complete registration information. The organizer will not be responsible for issues caused by incorrect information submitted by a participant.

20. Organizer’s Decision
    The organizer’s decision regarding event operations, participant eligibility and the interpretation of these terms shall be final.
